Job summary

Emerald Healthcare in Omaha, NE is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure the safe operation of a skilled nursing facility. You will perform routine maintenance on building systems, equipment, and grounds to provide a safe, clean environment for residents and staff.

This role involves both indoor and outdoor work with occasional evenings or weekends. The maintenance team collaborates with facility management to address requests and keep residents comfortable and safe.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Formal training or certification in maintenance, HVAC, electrical, or plumbing preferred.
• Healthcare or skilled nursing maintenance experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Routine inspection and preventive maintenance of HVAC, plumbing, electrical and mechanical systems.
• Diagnose and repair issues promptly to minimize disruptions.
• Ensure safety compliance and address hazards; respond to after-hours requests as needed.
