Job summary

Paloma Springs Healthcare is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to oversee facility upkeep, ensuring a sanitary, attractive, and safe environment. You will report to the Plant Supervisor or Operations Manager and ensure state compliance.

Responsibilities include safety inspections, PM task execution, maintenance scheduling, and documentation of parts and activities. We offer full-time hours with standard benefits for eligible staff.

Qualifications

• High School diploma.
• Knowledge of laundry/housekeeping/maintenance procedures.
• Minimum of 2 years work experience in long-term care preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Performs regular, scheduled safety inspections.
• Follows Life Safety and Preventative Maintenance tasks for compliance; documents as required.
• Prepares a monthly preventive maintenance schedule based on calendar days.
• Maintains documentation of all maintenance activities including parts and materials used.
• Maintains logs and documentation per Life Safety Manual and OSHA compliance.
