Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 2 years experience in housekeeping/janitorial cleaning.
• State of Virginia Fingerprint Clearance required.
• Must be able to pass VA DBHDS background check.
• Must be able to pass VA DSS Office of Background Investigations - Central Registry Search.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine, rotational maintenance to ensure equipment and facility operations run smoothly.
• Troubleshoot cleaning equipment issues, identifying and resolving root causes.
• Provide occasional assistance in facility maintenance tasks as needed.
• Respond to repair and maintenance tickets in a timely manner.
• Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for outsourced repairs, ensuring timely follow-up and resolution.
• Oversee floor care vendor performance.
• Order housekeeping and EVS supplies, monitor inventory levels.
• Receive, organize, and distribute supplies throughout the facility.
• Report Environment of Care concerns through the ticketing system to support Safety Committee documentation and compliance.
• Ensure adherence to facility standards related to safety, maintenance, and operational readiness.
• Maintain overall facility cleanliness including floor care, restroom upkeep, and window cleaning.
• Restock supplies and perform additional cleaning duties as needed.
