Job summary

Connections Health Solutions in King of Prussia, PA seeks an Environmental Services & Facilities Technician to maintain a clean, safe, and fully operational facility. You will perform routine housekeeping, floor care, biohazard cleanup, and minor maintenance tasks, responding to work orders and coordinating with vendors.

You will help ensure regulatory compliance, support environmental services supply management, and maintain a welcoming environment for employees, patients, and visitors.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2 years experience in housekeeping/janitorial cleaning.
• Knowledge of cleaning best practices and floor care.
• Vaccination policy compliance and background checks.

Responsibilities

• Facility Maintenance & Operations: Perform routine, rotational maintenance to ensure equipment and facility operations run smoothly.
• Troubleshoot cleaning equipment issues; resolve root causes.
• Provide occasional assistance in facility maintenance tasks as needed.
• Respond to repair and maintenance tickets submitted by internal departments in a timely manner.
• Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for outsourced repairs; ensure timely follow-up and resolution.
• Oversee floor care vendor performance.
• Inventory & Supply Management: Order housekeeping and EVS supplies, monitor inventory levels, and report on supply status.
• Receive, organize, and distribute supplies throughout the facility.
• Compliance & Environment of Care: Report Environment of Care concerns and support Safety Committee documentation.
• Ensure adherence to facility standards related to safety, maintenance, and operational readiness.
• Facility Cleanliness & Upkeep: Maintain overall facility cleanliness, including floor care, general cleaning, restroom upkeep, and window cleaning.
