Job summary

Healthcare Realty Trust Inc. is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead tenant improvement and capital construction projects within our medical office building portfolio in the Indianapolis area.

This full-time hybrid role requires leadership of architects, engineers, contractors, tenants, and internal stakeholders from concept through completion, with 20-30% travel and a competitive compensation package including an annual bonus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of experience managing commercial construction, tenant improvement, healthcare, life sciences, or capital improvement projects.
• Strong understanding of construction processes, building systems, project scheduling, estimating, and contract administration.
• Experience managing architects, engineers, general contractors, and subcontractors.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and project budgets.
• Demonstrated experience leading construction meetings and driving projects to completion.
• Travel throughout the assigned region.

Responsibilities

• Lead construction projects from planning through closeout.
• Conduct regular site visits for inspections and oversight.
• Coordinate architects, engineers, contractors, and tenants.
• Develop project budgets and preliminary estimates with leasing teams.
• Oversee capital improvement projects and ensure safety, quality, schedule, and budget objectives.
