Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CM/Engineering/Architecture or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in commercial construction, tenant improvement, healthcare, life sciences, or capital improvement projects.
• Strong ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specs, and budgets.
• Experience coordinating architects, engineers, general contractors, and subcontractors.
• Proven track record leading construction meetings and driving projects to completion.

Responsibilities

• Lead tenant improvement and capital construction projects from planning through closeout.
• Conduct regular site visits for inspections and project oversight.
• Build and manage a network of qualified local contractors and vendors; oversee bidding opportunities.
• Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, and execution.
• Coordinate architects, engineers, consultants, contractors, and vendors throughout design and construction.
• Conduct design review meetings; oversee permitting and construction.
• Review construction documents, specifications, proposals, and bid packages.
• Monitor progress via site visits and meetings.
• Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, punch lists, and closeout docs.
• Collaborate with leasing teams to develop budgets and preliminary estimates.
• Oversee cap-improvement projects related to building infrastructure and major garage repairs.
• Ensure safety, quality, schedule, and budget objectives are met.
• Build relationships with tenants, contractors, and municipal agencies.
