Job summary

Healthcare Realty Trust is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead tenant improvement and select capital construction projects within its medical office building portfolio in the DMV area. This hands-on role requires coordinating architects, engineers, contractors, tenants, and internal stakeholders from concept through completion.

The position is full-time and hybrid, with 20–30% travel. The pay range is $100,000–$130,000 annually, plus an annual bonus opportunity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field and professional PM experience.
• 5+ years managing commercial/healthcare construction projects.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, specs, and budgets.
• Proven leadership coordinating architects, engineers, contractors, and tenants.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills; willingness to travel regionally.

Responsibilities

• Lead tenant improvement and capital construction projects from planning through closeout.
• Site visits for inspections and collaboration with property teams.
• Develop knowledge of portfolio and assets; build network of contractors.
• Manage scopes, schedules, budgets, RFIs, submittals, change orders, and closeout.
• Coordinate with leasing teams on budgets and estimates; ensure safety and quality.
