Job summary

Healthcare Realty Trust is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead tenant improvement and capital construction projects within our medical office building portfolio in the Seattle area. This full-time hybrid role requires directing architects, engineers, contractors, tenants, and internal stakeholders from concept through completion.

The position involves 20–30% travel within state, with a pay range of $100,000 to $130,000 and an annual bonus opportunity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience managing commercial construction, tenant improvement, healthcare, life sciences, or capital improvement projects.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and project budgets.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. Travel throughout the assigned region.

Responsibilities

• Lead construction projects from initial planning through project closeout.
• Conduct regular site visits for project inspections and collaboration with local property teams.
• Develop in-depth knowledge of portfolio and building assets.
• Build and manage a network of qualified local contractors and vendors.
• Evaluate contractor performance and manage bidding opportunities.
• Manage project scope, schedules, and budgets from design through construction.
• Coordinate architects, engineers, consultants, contractors, and vendors.
• Oversee permitting, design reviews, and closeout documentation.
• Collaborate with leasing teams to develop budgets and estimates for tenants.
• Oversee capital improvement projects related to building infrastructure.
