UNC Health Care System, Rex Construction division in Raleigh, NC, seeks an experienced construction program manager to oversee hospital projects, manage schedules and budgets, and coordinate with departments and design consultants. This role ensures policy compliance, proper turnovers, and effective communication across operations.

Qualified candidates bring a Bachelor's in Architecture or Engineering with substantial progressive construction administration experience in institutional buildings

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree required; six (6) years of progressive experience in construction administration, building construction, or project engineering in institutional buildings if Bachelor's degree.
• If Associate's degree: ten (10) years of progressive experience in construction administration, building construction, or project engineering in institutional buildings.
• If High School Diploma or GED: fourteen (14) years of progressive experience in construction administration, building construction, or project engineering in institutional buildings.

Mansioni

• Coordinate work schedule for in-house trades and contractors on in-house projects; align schedules with requesting departments and Plant Engineering trades.
• Evaluate, troubleshoot, analyze and manage corrections of technical, system and construction problems in new/renovated buildings; negotiate warranties.
• Implement approved project scope and determine budget and schedule; interview and negotiate fees with architects and design consultants; coordinate design with hospital departments; review consultants' designs; bid and contract construction.
• Provide construction management services for hospital renovation/construction; coordinate activities with staff and contractors; monitor budgets; ensure conformance with user needs and jurisdictional requirements; communicate changes to upper management.
• Represent UNC Health Care as Owner's representative; maintain project documentation for policy compliance; oversee turnovers to Operations and closeout documentation.
• Support department operations, planning, budgeting, and implementation; oversee project design and development.
