Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, or equivalent.
• Six (6) years of progressive experience in institutional construction with a Bachelor's degree.
• If Associate’s degree: Ten (10) years; If High School Diploma or GED: Fourteen (14) years.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate work schedules for in-house trades and contractors on in-house projects.
• Evaluate and manage corrective actions for technical and construction problems, including warranty issues.
• Define scope, budget, and schedule; interview, select and negotiate with architects and consultants; review designs.
• Provide construction management for hospital renovation and construction projects, including change orders and budget control, ensuring user needs are met.
• Represent UNC Health Care as owner’s representative; maintain project documentation and closeouts for compliance.
• Support operations, planning, budgeting, and implementation; oversee project design and development.
