Qualifications

• Must have thorough knowledge of general maintenance such as boilers, heating and air conditioning units, refrigerators and freezers, electrical wiring.

Responsibilities

• Support Maintenance Operations: assist the Maintenance Director in planning, organizing, and performing routine maintenance, repairs, and preventive maintenance programs for the facility.
• Systems and Safety Compliance: maintain fire alarms, emergency electrical systems, HVAC, water/sewage systems, and ensure adherence to safety regulations.
• Equipment and Supply Management: help with ordering, receiving, storing, and documenting maintenance equipment and supplies; maintain inventory and report or repair equipment as needed.
• Facility Cleanliness and Safety: maintain clean, safe indoor and outdoor areas, identify and eliminate hazards, coordinate preventive maintenance visits.
• Professional Conduct and Communication: promote positive relationships with residents, staff, families, and visitors; maintain confidentiality and proper dress code while supporting customer service.
• Training and Compliance: participate in inspections, audits, workshops, and continuing education; stay updated on regulations and safety procedures.
