Job summary

Laurel Lakes Rehabilitation and Wellness Center in Chambersburg, PA is hiring a Full-Time Maintenance Assistant for the Day shift. You will keep our facility, grounds, and equipment in safe, clean, and well-maintained condition, supporting a compassionate caregiving team.

Responsibilities include following supervisor maintenance schedules, performing routine maintenance on grounds and the facility, handling basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry tasks, replacing lights, servicing HVAC, and

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Prior Healthcare Maintenance experience preferred.
Experience with electrical and painting preferred.
Must successfully complete a background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

Maintain the Facility in good repair, ensuring a safe, clean, and orderly environment.
Receive and follow maintenance schedule or instructions from supervisor.
Perform routine maintenance on grounds, parking areas, driveways, etc., as directed.
Perform routine maintenance and repair on the Facility and equipment including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, mechanial tasks as directed.
Replace burned out light bulbs and perform cleaning duties as necessary.
Service heating and cooling units and systems as specified by manufacturer.
Perform unscheduled maintenance tasks as directed.
Minimize waste of supplies and misuse of equipment.
