Job summary

Stony Brook Medicine is seeking a Facilities Planning Project Manager to deliver project planning and implementation services. The role requires organization, attention to detail, and ability to manage several projects with minimal oversight.

The candidate should have strong MS Office skills (Outlook, Word, Excel) and experience with project management software. Travel across Long Island locations is expected as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and a minimum 5 years’ experience in hospital facilities planning or facilities and construction project management, or in lieu of degree, 10 years’ experience in hospital facilities planning or facilities and construction project management.
• Knowledge of NYSDOH, FGI, CMS, TJC and other regulatory processes.
• Experience using ProjectMates or other project management software.
• An active NY State Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for working on Stony Brook Medicine projects across multiple locations.
• Provide space planning for clinical practice or office renovation, relocation, or development of new locations.
• Create bid documents and RFPs, analyze bids, maintain contracts/purchase orders, and ensure NYS procurement compliance.
• Coordinate design and construction plans for assigned projects.
• Provide PM/CM oversight, track time/materials within funding constraints, and maintain complete project records.
