Job summary

Health Quest Systems Inc in New York is seeking a Facilities Construction Coordinator to plan and oversee hospital design and construction from schematic design through construction documents, monitoring feasibility, cost and quality.

You will serve as liaison between hospital administration and architects, engineers, contractors and users, ensuring schedules, budgets, and regulatory compliance are met; perform data analysis, change order reviews and ensure safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Familiar with all aspects of construction trade disciplines.
• Minimum experience: seven years or more.
• Associates degree required.

Responsibilities

• Participates in design budgeting and construction with architects, engineers, contractors and users.
• Monitors onsite and offsite construction projects and ensures timelines and budgets.
• Analyzes efficiency and develops processes for cost-effective resource use.
• Gathers data and prepares cost reports for Administration.
• Reviews change orders and requisitions for payment.
• Ensures quality and consistency of hospital services through contract reviews.
• Coordinates furniture and equipment specs with construction docs and installs.
• Fulfills all compliance responsibilities related to the position.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
