Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking a Project Manager to direct the planning, design, and construction of capital facilities. You will oversee the project scope, budget, and timeline, and lead architects, engineers, and construction managers.

You will coordinate with BIDMC staff and facility teams, ensure compliance with safety standards, relocate staff as needed, and supervise vendors to deliver operational spaces that meet medical center standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in engineering, architecture, PM or related field.
• 5–8 years of relevant experience.
• Understanding of design and construction of capital facilities projects.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Project.
• Advanced skills in MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).

Responsibilities

• Directs planning, design and construction of capital facilities projects.
• Develops project charter and construction timeline aligned with scope and budget.
• Leads design consultants, construction contractors and vendors.
• Acts as project lead with architect, engineers and construction manager.
• Coordinates with BIDMC staff across project phases.
• Ensures interim life safety and infection control compliance during construction.
• Oversees relocation of medical center staff and move management.
• Ensures equipment and furniture procurement and installation for operational space.
