Job summary

Stony Brook CPMP is seeking a Project Manager to lead planning and execution across multiple Long Island clinical and administrative locations. Responsibilities include coordinating design and construction, managing time and budgets, and maintaining all project records.

Strong MS Office and project management software skills are required. The role reports to the Associate Director for Facilities Planning and demands professional communication with administrators, clinicians, and contractors

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in healthcare or related field.
• At least 3 years of hospital facilities planning or project management experience.
• Knowledge of NYSDOH, FGI, CMS, JCAHO and other regulatory processes; MS Office proficiency.
• Experience with project management software (e.g., ProjectMates).

Responsibilities

• Provide project planning and implementation services for Stony Brook Medicine projects.
• Coordinate design and construction plans for assigned projects.
• Manage time/material tracking within funding constraints and schedules.
• Maintain complete project documentation and provide bi-monthly status updates.
• Schedule regular meetings with contractors and vendors for progress.
• Communicate project activities to practice administrators and department heads.
