Crothall Healthcare is hiring a Facilities Plumber for South County Health on the 1st shift (7:00 am–3:30 pm). The role focuses on repairing, adjusting and replacing plumbing systems, including waste-vent-water piping, valves, and fixtures, in a healthcare facility in Rhode Island.

The position requires 2 years of plumbing experience in healthcare or similar settings, a valid driver’s license, and a high school diploma or GED. It is part of a union account with competitive benefits and bonuses.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or 2 years skilled trade or vocational school.
• Valid unencumbered driver's license required.
• Two years of plumbing experience in commercial, industrial, or healthcare settings.

Responsibilities

• Work with local/state inspectors for plumbing approvals.
• Repair or replace defective plumbing equipment and fixtures.
• Coordinate with outside vendors and contractors as needed.
• Assist in coordinating shutdowns of plumbing systems.
• Receive work orders and schedule tasks per director’s plan.
• Maintain and troubleshoot facility plumbing systems.
• Respond to emergency plumbing calls promptly.
• Perform preventive maintenance on related equipment.
