Hireology is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead our maintenance team, ensuring safety, reliability, and regulatory compliance across the facility. You will manage preventive maintenance programs, oversee equipment like HVAC and boilers, and coordinate with external contractors to keep operations running smoothly.

The role requires strong leadership, clear communication, and the ability to manage budgets and schedules in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• Facility maintenance experience, healthcare or long-term care preferred.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• HVAC, boiler, water, and emergency systems knowledge.
• Ability to implement preventive maintenance programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead Maintenance Operations: hire, train, and supervise maintenance staff.
• Promote Safety & Compliance: conduct and document fire system inspections and coordinate monthly drills.
• Oversee Preventive Maintenance: develop and implement a preventive maintenance program.
• Maintain Equipment: inspect, maintain, and repair HVAC, boilers, water systems, laundry equipment, and generators.
• Manage Supplies & Budget: order maintenance supplies and equipment within budget guidelines.
• Supervise Contractors: oversee work by external contractors.
• Maintain Standards: ensure safety, operation, and regulatory compliance of facility and equipment.
• Train Staff: provide job-specific training and enforce safety procedures.
• Coordinate Schedules: plan staffing according to census needs and labor budgets.
