Job summary

Beacon Health System seeks a Facility Manager to oversee the daily operations of the maintenance and facilities department, aligning with organizational goals and safety standards. The role emphasizes regulatory compliance, vendor coordination, and service excellence while representing the company to associates and customers.

You will lead planning, budgeting, safety programs, and capital projects, ensuring reliable, safe facilities and effective collaboration across departments.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Engineering or related field; six years of facilities management experience preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field preferred.
• Knowledge and experience with Joint Commission, NFPA, and state/federal healthcare facility regulations.

Responsibilities

• Develops strategic and operational policies and plans and executes strategic plans.
• Oversee staffing, training, scheduling, budgeting in the Facilities Management department.
• Establishes a safe work environment by performing safety audits and related training.
• Manages building operations and maintenance, inventories, and energy/grounds management.
• Oversees major infrastructure repairs and renovations with vendors/contractors.
• Acts as liaison for remodeling, renovation and construction projects related to standards.
• Communicates status of work with customers, vendors and internal/external partners.
• Reviews and authorizes purchase requests to ensure service agreements meet budgets.
• Maintains external relations with government/regulatory bodies and accrediting agencies.
