Job summary

Hospice of the Chesapeake is seeking a Facilities Manager to oversee safe, efficient operation of inpatient facilities, offices, and community spaces in Pasadena, MD. The role includes building systems maintenance, vendor oversight, and regulatory compliance to support patient care and staff safety.

You will manage preventive maintenance, safety documentation, and capital projects, while coordinating with environmental services and leadership.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certifications in facilities management preferred.
• Healthcare/nonprofit experience is highly valued for this role.
• Knowledge of building codes and safety regulations (OSHA, NFPA, CMS Life Safety Code) is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform and oversee maintenance of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and other building systems.
• Implement and manage preventive maintenance program with accurate CMMS documentation.
• Monitor critical systems daily; log readings and escalate issues as needed.
