CHESAPEAKE HEALTH PARTNERS INC is seeking a Facilities Manager to ensure safe, efficient and compliant operation of hospital and related facilities. The role covers building systems, preventive maintenance, vendor management, emergency preparedness, regulatory compliance, and capital project support.

Office location in Pasadena, MD with a roving position using a company-provided vehicle. Candidates should have 3+ years in facility maintenance, healthcare or nonprofit experience preferred, and

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training, trade certifications, or college coursework in facilities management, engineering, or building trades preferred.

Responsabilités

• Maintain and operate plumbing, electrical, HVAC, mechanical, and other building systems.
• Implement and manage the Preventive Maintenance Program with proper documentation.
• Monitor boiler, HVAC and critical systems; log readings and escalate issues.
• Manage inventory of facility equipment, tools, and supplies; track warranties and service contracts.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with healthcare standards (OSHA, NFPA 99/101, ASHRAE 170, EPA, CMS Life Safety Code, Joint Commission).
• Oversee life safety systems including fire suppression, alarms, emergency power, and egress; test generators and emergency lighting.
• Coordinate with Environmental Services and vendors for hazardous materials handling.
• Maintain records for audits and surveys.
• Participate in emergency preparedness and disaster recovery planning; provide after-hours on-call support.
• Assist with capital improvement projects, budgeting, and cost control.
• Supervise contractors and manage vendor contracts and service agreements.
• Maintain building security systems in coordination with IT and safety staff.
