Job summary

St. Charles Health System seeks a Facilities Manager for Bend to lead building operations, safety and quality of service across hospital facilities and clinics.

You will manage a team of Facilities staff, coordinate preventive maintenance, and ensure regulatory compliance while working closely with hospital leadership. The role requires extensive facilities experience, HVAC/plumbing/electrical certification, and a proven leadership track record.

Qualifications

• Required: High school diploma or GED.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree or above in related field.
• Required: Journeyman level certification in HVAC/R, Plumbing, Electrical.
• CHFM Certification or willingness to obtain upon hire.
• Five (5) or more years in facilities operations, construction, building systems, or related field.
• Minimum one year of prior leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary Facilities point of escalation for Bend campus operations, including maintenance and utilities.
• Manage work order and preventive maintenance program, ensuring timely completion and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with state/federal regulations, Joint Commission and ISO requirements.
• Oversee budget development, monitoring, and attainment of targets.
• Hire, coach and manage direct reports to build a high performing Facilities team.
