Job summary

Cornerstone Companies in Lafayette, IN is seeking a Maintenance Technician to oversee the maintenance and daily operations of assigned medical office buildings. You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot building systems, and coordinate repairs to keep facilities safe, reliable, and ready for patient care.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
Experience in facilities maintenance and building systems.
Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems helpful.

Responsibilities

Perform preventive maintenance and routine building inspections.
Diagnose and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, lighting, and building systems.
Respond to tenant maintenance requests and comfort calls.
Maintain generators, fire protection systems, and other critical infrastructure.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations, life safety standards, and building codes.
Coordinate outside contractors for specialized repairs and preventive maintenance.
Maintain maintenance records, inspection documentation, and work orders.
Order maintenance materials and manage inventory.
Keep mechanical rooms, storage areas, grounds, and common areas clean and organized.
