Job summary

Brookestone Meadows is seeking a dependable, hands-on Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the maintenance and physical plant operations of our long-term care and short-term rehabilitation facility.

The Maintenance Supervisor ensures the building, grounds, equipment, and systems are safe, functional, and compliant with regulations, collaborating with facility leadership and all departments to provide a safe, comfortable environment for residents, patients, families, and team members.

Qualifications

• Previous maintenance experience required; supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience in healthcare or long-term care settings preferred.
• Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and mechanical systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot problems and read manuals; follow safety procedures.
• Strong organizational, time-management, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily maintenance operations and staff.
• Perform routine inspections of the building, grounds, equipment, and systems.
• Coordinate with contractors and vendors for repairs and services.
• Maintain records of inspections, repairs, work orders, and PM.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, local, and regulatory requirements.
• Assist with emergency preparedness and response procedures.
• Oversee building security, lighting, plumbing, HVAC, electrical systems, and other facility systems.
• Provide direction and training to maintenance team members.
