Job summary

Neighborhood Health Association (NHA) seeks a seasoned Maintenance Manager to oversee the operation of our multi-site healthcare facilities in Northwest Ohio. You will lead a team across maintenance, groundskeeping, transportation, and housekeeping, ensuring reliable building operations and compliance with safety standards.

Responsibilities include forecasting resources, managing budgets, obtaining bids, scheduling staff, and implementing preventive maintenance programs.

Qualifications

• Experience with electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems in a facilities context.
• Project management skills with ability to prioritize and deliver on deadlines.
• Experience conducting safety drills and staff training.
• Ability to write policy and procedures aligned with OSHA and Joint Commission standards.
• Developing and delivering staff training on workplace safety and infection control.
• Familiarity with blueprints and schematic diagrams.
• Supervisory experience with resource allocation and performance management.
• Strong communication skills across all organizational levels.

Responsibilities

• Assists maintenance operations by forecasting resources and overseeing construction and capital projects.
• Manages day-to-day work assignments for maintenance, groundskeeping, transportation, and housekeeping staff.
• Schedules staff, approves time off, and handles payroll-related tasks per policy.
• Implements preventive maintenance programs and reviews maintenance and quality control reports.
• Ensures compliance with local zoning laws and schedules required inspections.
• Obtains bids from contractors and oversees service delivery within budget parameters.
• Ensures security of properties and conducts asset audits.
• Leads safety training and drills to ensure emergency readiness.
• Develops and revises departmental policies per regulatory standards.
• Oversees fleet maintenance, purchases, and vehicle cleanliness.
