Job summary

Neighborhood Health Association (NHA) seeks a Maintenance Manager to ensure operational efficiency across multiple healthcare properties. You will supervise maintenance, grounds, transportation and housekeeping staff, schedule work, assign tasks and manage payroll in line with NHA policy.

You will design preventive maintenance programs, oversee inspections, bid analysis and capital projects, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance across all sites.

Qualifications

• Experience with electrical, mechanical and plumbing systems.
• Ability to manage capital projects and daily repairs.
• Experience conducting safety drills and OSHA compliance.
• Ability to write policies and procedures.
• Familiarity with blueprints and schematics.
• Supervisory experience and budget tracking.
• Strong communication across levels within the organization.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day maintenance operations for multi-site healthcare properties.
• Manage staffing, scheduling, and payroll related tasks for maintenance and support teams.
• Forecast resources and approve purchases within budget.
• Design and improve preventive maintenance programs for equipment and systems.
• Ensure compliance with local codes, inspections, and regulatory boards.
• Solicit bids from contractors and oversee service delivery within budget.
• Conduct staff safety training and emergency drills across sites.
