Qualifikationen

• 5+ years of plant engineering or skilled trades experience.
• Trade school graduate and/or licensed journeyman mechanic preferred.
• Strong track record of safety and regulatory compliance.
• Effective leadership and team development skills.
• Clear communication in English (written and verbal).

Aufgaben

• Oversee all mechanical and structural aspects of the physical plant, inside and out.
• Maintain critical systems including plumbing, boilers, burners, heating, and hot water.
• Ensure full compliance with safety, sanitary, health, and fire codes, including NFPA 101.
• Recruit, coach, and inspire a maintenance team; may oversee housekeeping and/or laundry operations.
• Set and manage staff, contractors, and service-provider schedules.
• Inspect buildings and grounds regularly for repairs and safety.
• Lead the creation, upkeep, and execution of the Emergency Preparedness Plan.
• Plan and oversee electrical system upgrades and equipment installations.
• Manage departmental budgets, from supply ordering to invoice approvals.
• Respond to emergencies outside regular hours.
