Job summary

Lackey Memorial Hospital is seeking a Full-time Director of Maintenance to oversee maintenance services, ensure a safe healthcare environment for patients, visitors, and staff, and lead the department's goals and staffing. The role involves coordinating schedules, implementing preventive programs, and maintaining compliance with regulations.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in service plumbing/mechanical systems, a trade school background, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Three to five years experience in service plumbing/mechanical systems preferred.
• Graduation from an accredited trade school in a related field is desirable and may substitute for up to two years of experience.
• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Graduate of appropriate trade school or technical college is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the implementation of campus upkeep.
• Initiates preventative maintenance program.
• Maintains operational standards to comply with MS Department of Natural Resources.
• Supervises team’s completed assignments and ensures thoroughness.
• Assist managers with special work assignments and staffing planning.
• Adopts mission and goals of the Maintenance department and SRMH, Inc.
