Qualifications

• Associates degree or equivalent with facilities maintenance experience.
• 5–7 years in maintenance, 2–3 years in a supervisory role, preferably in healthcare.
• Proficient in reading blueprints, schematics and technical manuals.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily maintenance operations of the facility to keep buildings, grounds and equipment well-maintained.
• Conduct regular inspections and prioritize repairs and preventive maintenance.
• Manage plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC and general building maintenance.
• Ensure preventive maintenance programs are implemented and followed to extend equipment life.
• Supervise maintenance staff, schedule coverage and provide performance feedback.
• Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for large projects and ensure quality within budget.
• Ensure compliance with fire safety, building codes and environmental health standards.
• Manage department budget, inventory and maintenance records.
• Respond to maintenance requests from residents and staff to minimize disruption.
• Plan renovations and equipment upgrades with architects, engineers and contractors.
