Job summary

Licking Memorial Health Systems is seeking a seasoned maintenance professional to oversee operation, repair, and renovation of hospital properties. The role requires coordinating skilled teams, managing projects, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

You will collaborate with the Assistant Vice President of Engineering, prepare budgets, and maintain critical systems. The position emphasizes safety, quality, and timely project delivery within a hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Advanced technical knowledge or post-secondary training (2–3 years).
• 5–7 years of progressively responsible maintenance/ construction experience, preferably in a hospital setting.
• Analytical and problem solving skills to handle highly technical issues and coordinate teams.
• Strong interpersonal skills for in-service programs, vendor negotiations, and collaboration with hospital staff.

Responsibilities

• Assist with operation, maintenance, and renovation of LMH properties.
• Manage staff and oversee light construction projects, plumbing, electrical, painting, and carpentry.
• Provide updates to stakeholders on project status and estimated completion dates.
• Coordinate with engineering management on planning, estimating, and directing projects.
• Prepare reports on maintenance personnel, equipment, and supplies; monitor budgets.
