Job summary

Begell House Inc. seeks a Director of Facilities Management at Howard County Medical Center to lead a facilities division within the Health System.

This role partners with departmental colleagues to advance the overall department's goals and ensure safe, compliant operations. You will supervise engineering staff, develop budgets, implement strategies, and coordinate capital projects while maintaining service levels, regulatory compliance, and high standards of care across the system.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in a related field.
• Advanced degree or 15 years of management experience preferred.
• 10 years supervising experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to engineering staff and support teams to complete work on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with codes and regulations.
• Devise and implement strategies to meet hospital and system-wide mission and goals.
• Communicate division activities across the Health System to stakeholders and leadership.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in a related field

Advanced degree in a related field or equivalent level of knowledge or experience of 15 years in a management position
