Job summary

HCA Healthcare oversees Westside Hospital in Plantation, FL, seeking a Director of Facility Management to optimize daily operations of a 200,000–500,000 sq ft facility. You will coordinate maintenance, projects, and vendor activities, ensuring safety, regulatory compliance, and energy-efficient operations within budget.

You will lead a team of managers and supervisors, drive strategic planning, develop talent, and maintain preventive maintenance programs using the CMMS.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Bachelor's degree is preferred.
• Hospital Incident Command System (HICS) training is required.
• Certified Healthcare Facility Manager (CHFM) within 3 years of hire date.

Responsibilities

• Engages in strategic planning to achieve departmental goals.
• Fosters team development and motivates staff.
• Communicates and collaborates with technicians to executives.
• Manages work orders and preventative maintenance using CMMS.
• Ensures compliance with Life Safety Code, OSHA, and regulatory standards.
• Maintains facility safety and energy-efficient operations within budget.
