Job summary

Health Care District of Palm Beach County is seeking a Facilities Leader to oversee hospital plant operations, safety, and regulatory compliance. The role involves budgeting, project oversight, and coordinating construction and maintenance with clinical and support departments.

The position requires 3-5 years of facilities or environmental services experience, supervisory skills, and knowledge of OSHA, AHCA, JCAHO/NFPA standards. Strong vendor oversight and strategic planning duties are included.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years: Experience in facilities operations or environmental services required.
• 3-5 years: Supervisory experience required.
• 3-5 years: Construction and emergency management experience preferred.
• 3-5 years: Experience applying OSHA, The Joint Commission, and NFPA regulations; IT skills; reading blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Provides day-to-day control for all activities in plant operations and contracted services.
• Supervises Facilities staff, assigns work, coach, and ensures performance.
• Coordinates construction, renovations, and major maintenance with clinical/support departments.
• Maintains Environment of Care program and ensures regulatory compliance.
