Job summary

Crothall Healthcare is seeking a Facilities Carpenter for MedStar Health locations in DC/MD on the 2nd shift (2pm–10:30pm, Mon-Fri). The role involves day-to-day upkeep, repairs, cabinet work, hanging doors, drywall finishing, painting, and general maintenance across hospital buildings and campuses.

Ideal candidates will have 3–5 years of related maintenance experience, strong communication skills, a valid driver's license, and familiarity with computerized work order systems.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of related maintenance experience.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Driver's license and clean driving record.
• Experience with computerized work order systems.
• Ability to follow up on maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, repair, and operate hospital facilities.
• Perform carpentry, plumbing, painting, electrical tasks as needed.
• Read blueprints; estimate materials and time.
• Respond to emergencies and document work orders.
• Keep logs and inspection records.
