Morrison Healthcare in Illinois is seeking an Executive Chef to oversee all kitchen operations in a healthcare dining environment, ensuring safety, sanitation, and regulatory compliance while delivering high-quality patient, staff, and guest meals.

You will lead culinary production, manage menus aligned with nutritional guidelines, train staff, and drive cost controls. This hands-on role requires strong leadership and a passion for nourishing dining experiences in complex healthcare settings.

Formación

• Associate degree in Culinary Arts (or equivalent) is required.
• 3–5 years of progressive culinary and kitchen management experience is required.
• Hands-on culinary leadership with strong production capabilities in high-volume environments.
• High-volume and complex foodservice operations experience required; catering experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of culinary trends, sanitation, food cost control, and presentation standards.
• Proficiency in MS Office; ServSafe certification is desirable.

Responsabilidades

• Plan and execute regular and modified menus in accordance with nutritional guidelines and facility standards.
• Follow recipes, portioning, and presentation standards; maintain production worksheets and waste logs; taste meals for quality.
• Train culinary staff on food preparation, safety, equipment operation, and sanitation per policies.
• Maintain cleaning schedules and preventive maintenance for equipment and spaces; ensure team compliance.
• Manage inventories and control costs while ensuring product availability.
• Minimize waste by prudent utilization of leftovers; adhere to health regulations and audits.
• Follow safety policies and participate in meetings and staff development.
