Job summary

Windsor Laurelwood Center for Behavioral Medicine in Willoughby, OH is seeking a dependable Housekeeper (Environmental Services) to maintain a clean, safe, inviting environment for patients and staff. You will perform daily cleaning and sanitation throughout the facility under the Director of Plant Operations, supporting OSHA and infection-control standards.

The role requires attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• Experience with material management/exchange cart system.
• Ability to understand inventory documentation.
• Able to work in a fast paced, high stress environment.
• Able to demonstrate communication skills by conveying information clearly.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize patient rooms, offices, common areas, and public spaces.
• Vacuum, dust, sweep, mop, and remove trash throughout the facility.
• Clean surfaces using approved disinfectants and cleaning procedures.
• Replenish supplies such as paper products, soap, and linens.
• Ensure housekeeping equipment and cleaning supplies are stored safely.
• Report safety concerns or maintenance issues that could impact patients, visitors, or staff.
• Help maintain infection prevention and safety standards.
• Respond appropriately during facility emergencies.
• Work closely with supervisors and team members to support departmental needs.
• Provide courteous and professional interactions with patients, visitors, and coworkers.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient and employee information.
