Job summary

AOS Staffing is seeking a dependable Housekeeper (Environmental Services Technician) in Missouri to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming hospital environment for patients, visitors, and staff. You will perform routine cleaning, manage patient rooms, and support infection prevention to contribute to a high-quality patient experience.

Requirements include at least 1 year of EVS or housekeeping experience, flexibility to cover rotating weekends and holidays, and the ability to work independently

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of housekeeping or EVS experience.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and safety standards.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including rotating weekends and holidays.
• Reliable and professional, able to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning and sanitization of patient rooms, public areas, and common spaces following hospital procedures and infection control standards.
• Complete discharge cleaning of inpatient rooms and prepare rooms for new admissions.
• Set up and reconfigure patient rooms as needed.
• Maintain cleaning equipment to ensure it remains clean, safe, and fully operational.
• Report equipment malfunctions, damaged furniture, or maintenance concerns promptly.
• Follow safety, sanitation, and organizational policies and procedures.
• Support a positive patient and visitor experience through exceptional housekeeping services.
