Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Room Cleaning: Thoroughly clean patient rooms including disinfecting surfaces, furniture and equipment.
• Bed Making: Properly making beds per cleanliness and infection control procedures.
• Linen Management: Replenish clean linens and safely handle soiled linens to prevent cross‑contamination.
• Floor Maintenance: Sweep, mop and manage spills to keep floors safe and sanitary.
• Restroom Sanitation: Clean and restock restrooms with soap and supplies.
• Waste Disposal: Handle and dispose of medical waste, recycling and trash per guidelines.
• Inventory Management: Track cleaning supplies and notify when low.
• Adhering to Protocols: Follow hospital infection control policies and PPE usage.
• Reporting Maintenance Issues: Identify and report facility maintenance or safety concerns.
• Collaboration and Teamwork: Coordinate cleaning with nursing staff and other duties as assigned.
