Job summary

Forefront is seeking an Environmental Services Technician to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming healthcare environment for patients, residents, staff, and visitors. You will perform cleaning, laundry, and related duties while following infection prevention protocols and safety standards.

This hourly, non-exempt role offers opportunities for growth and complies with OSHA, CMS, and TJC guidelines. Pay rate is 13.75 per hour, with full-time benefits and supportive team culture.

Qualifications

• Perform cleaning, disinfecting, and sanitizing of patient/resident rooms, public areas, and workspaces per organizational standards.
• Operate and maintain cleaning equipment safely and efficiently.
• May perform laundry duties and deliver linens/uniforms.
• Adhere to infection prevention and safety protocols including OSHA, CMS and TJC standards.
• Assist in room setup, furniture movement, and light maintenance as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning, disinfecting, and sanitizing of patient/resident rooms, public areas, and workspaces according to organizational standards.
• Operate and maintain cleaning equipment and supplies safely and efficiently.
• May perform laundry duties, including sorting, washing, drying, folding, and delivering linens and uniforms.
• Follow infection prevention and safety protocols, including OSHA, CMS, and TJC standards.
• Assist in setting up rooms, moving furniture, and performing light maintenance as needed.
• Report maintenance issues, supply needs, or safety concerns to the Supervisor.
• Document completed work and adhere to departmental checklists and quality standards.
• Participate in training, staff meetings, and continuous improvement initiatives.
