Artesian Valley Health System (AVHS) is seeking a Housekeeper / Environmental Services Technician to support a clean, safe, healing environment across our facilities. This full-time role focuses on high-standard cleaning, sanitization, and responsive room turnaround to protect patient health.

Responsibilities include restocking supplies, waste disposal, adherence to infection control and safety guidelines, and professional interactions with patients, visitors, and staff.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required (preferred).
• Experience in commercial cleaning or housekeeping preferred.
• Understand and apply cleaning, sanitizing, and chemical safety principles.
• Read and follow written/verbal safety instructions and SDS sheets.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-standard cleaning, sanitization, and floor care across areas.
• Adhere to infection control, safety, and health system guidelines.
• Restock supplies, manage waste disposal, and respond to room turnaround requests.
