Cypress Ridge Care Center in Monterey, CA, is hiring a full-time Janitor to join our environmental services team. You will keep patient and public areas clean, follow safety protocols, and help maintain a welcoming, sanitary facility.

The role offers a rotating 4-on/2-off schedule, hourly pay of $17.00-$22.00 based on experience, and benefits including medical, dental, and vision, PTO and holidays, plus a 401(k). Opportunities for advancement exist within PACS Group.

Qualifications

• Rotating 4 days on, 2 days off schedule, may include weekends/holidays.
• Experience in janitorial, custodial, or EVS preferred; healthcare or hospitality exposure is a plus.
• Must be able to stand, walk, bend and lift up to 50 lbs over an 8-hour shift.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of resident rooms, common areas, and hallways.
• Waste disposal including trash, recycling, and biohazard bins per healthcare rules.
• Sanitize restrooms, high-touch surfaces, fixtures, and clinical spaces to minimize infection risk.
• Monitor and restock cleaning supplies, soap dispensers, and paper products.
• Assist with minor maintenance tasks and setup for facility events.
• Follow OSHA/SDS and healthcare safety protocols.
