Indiana University Health Methodist Hospital is seeking an Environmental Services Lead Associate to guide EVS staff, ensure cleaning standards, and support patient care during the 2 PM–10 PM shift.

This role provides non-supervisory leadership, coordinates daily tasks, trains new team members, monitors supplies, and upholds infection prevention and safety guidelines in a fast-paced hospital environment, with rotating weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Requires 3–5 years of Environmental Services or healthcare support experience.
• CHEST credentialing is required for those newly hired or promoted after Oct 5, 2025; six months to obtain if applicable.
• Working knowledge of cleaning equipment, chemicals, and infection prevention practices.
• Ability to follow hospital policies and reinforce accountability and service excellence.

Responsabilités

• Provides non-supervisory leadership and frontline support to EVS team members.
• Coordinates daily task assignments, training, onboarding, and quality checks.
• Leads or supports team huddles, shift briefings, and ongoing communication among EVS staff.
• Participates in inventory management and supply readiness, ensuring equipment availability.
• Supports infection prevention initiatives and environmental standards to promote safety and cleanliness.
• Escalates issues to leadership when necessary and models professionalism.
