Job summary

IU Health’s Riley Children’s Hospital seeks an Environmental Services Team Lead to supervise and support the EVS team on the hospital floor. You will help coordinate daily tasks, onboard new staff, and ensure supplies and equipment readiness to maintain clean, safe environments for patients and families.

You’ll model professionalism and enforce safety and quality standards while guiding the team through huddles, briefings, and routine communication.

Qualifications

• Previous Team Lead experience.
• Customer Services experience.
• Good communication skills and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Provide non-supervisory leadership and frontline EVS support to the team.
• Coordinate daily task assignments, training, and onboarding of new team members.
• Lead or support team huddles, shift briefings, and ongoing communication across the EVS team.
• Participate in inventory management, supply readiness, and organization of equipment or materials.
• Conduct quality checks and performance audits and escalate concerns when necessary.
