Job summary

Crothall Healthcare, a Compass Group USA company, seeks an Environmental Services Operations Manager to lead housekeeping operations in a hospital setting. You will guide front-line staff, coordinate tasks with administration, and ensure exceptional service across departments.

You will plan staffing, train associates, and maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety while reporting monthly progress and plans to leadership. Competitive benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Four year college degree required.
• At least one year of supervisory experience in housekeeping or service-related field with high customer contact.
• Demonstrated growth in healthcare housekeeping or facility maintenance is preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively in writing and orally.
• Ability to multitask and set priorities.
• Maintain organization in stressful environments.
• Knowledge of contract administration and office procedures.
• Day shift Monday-Friday with weekend/holiday rotation.

Responsibilities

• Establishes and annually reviews standards and work procedures for all Housekeeping staff.
• Plans work and staffing schedules to ensure adequate services.
• Assists in hiring process; interview, hire and train new associates.
• Oversees supervisory/housekeeping staff.
• Conducts regular inspections and makes recommendations to the facility.
• Monthly reporting of goals, accomplishments, and future plans.
• Staff education and training; communicates with staff and other departments.
• Coordinates outside services (e.g. pest control, window cleaning, waste management).
