Job summary

Centralus Health is seeking an Environmental Services Manager to lead housekeeping and sanitation across patient care, clinical, and public areas at Schuyler Hospital in Montour Falls, NY. This onsite role focuses on infection prevention, patient safety, and efficient patient flow.

You will supervise EVS staff, manage staffing and resources, and ensure compliance with Joint Commission, CMS, OSHA standards, while partnering with Nursing, Infection Prevention, and Facilities to improve outcomes.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to lead staff, manage schedules, and cover shifts.
• Knowledge of housekeeping and sanitation practices, including PPE and disinfection.
• Strong communication with clinical teams and leadership.
• Ability to monitor quality and complete inspections.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily Environmental Services operations across patient care, clinical, and public areas.
• Hire, train, schedule, supervise, and develop EVS staff and leads.
• Ensure compliance with Joint Commission, CMS, OSHA; cleaning and PPE procedures.
• Monitor and improve department quality and performance with audits.
• Manage resources and expenses to maintain efficient operations.
