Job summary

Forefront Healthcare seeks an Environmental Services Manager to oversee the day-to-day EVS operations in a healthcare setting, including cleaning, laundry, and compliance with safety standards.

The role leads front-line supervisors, supports infection prevention goals, and partners with the Director on strategic initiatives and reporting to ensure a safe, clean environment for patients and staff.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising environmental services staff.
• Knowledge of infection prevention practices.
• Understanding of OSHA, CMS, and TJC regulations.

Responsibilities

• Supervise EVS supervisors, technicians, and laundry staff.
• Oversee laundry operations, staffing, workflow and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and safety requirements.
• Develop and monitor departmental schedules and productivity.
• Conduct regular inspections and quality audits of patient areas and spaces.
• Manage inventory, equipment maintenance, and supply orders.
• Implement KPIs and monitor operational efficiency and service quality.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support infection prevention and safety initiatives.
• Support the Director in reporting and program implementation.
