Job summary

The MetroHealth System is seeking a leader to assist in managing and training the Environmental Services and Logistics departments. You will provide executive oversight of operations, patient satisfaction initiatives, workforce development, training, and quality assurance programs to meet Joint Commission and other regulatory standards.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree or 7 years of hospital experience, supervisory experience, and a CESE certification within the first year.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 7 years hospital experience in lieu of degree.
• Demonstrated supervisory/management experience.
• Demonstrated knowledge of EVS & Logistics practices.
• Must obtain a CESE Certification from IEHA within a year of starting.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Budget, project management, and strategic planning experience.
• Evidence of continuing professional self-development.
• Proven leadership, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills; proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint and databases.
• Ability to interact effectively with diverse backgrounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist in management and training of the EVS and Logistics departments.
• Provide executive oversight of EVS and Logistics operations and related initiatives.
• Support patient satisfaction initiatives, workforce development, and regulatory readiness.
• Ensure compliance with accreditation standards and organizational policies.
