Job summary

Forefront Healthcare, LLC is seeking an Environmental Services Manager to lead day-to-day EVS operations in a healthcare setting. The role emphasizes safe, clean environments for patients and staff, with responsibility for labor, inventory, and KPI tracking.

As a salaried, exempt leadership position, you will supervise front-line staff, support infection prevention efforts, and work with the Director on strategic initiatives, reporting, and program implementation.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising EVS staff and operations.
• Knowledge of OSHA, CMS, TJC and related health regulations.
• Ability to develop schedules, monitor productivity, and drive service quality.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support EVS supervisors, technicians, and laundry staff.
• Oversee laundry operations including staffing, workflow, equipment, and infection prevention.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, CMS, TJC, and other applicable regulations.
• Develop and monitor departmental schedules, assignments, and productivity standards.
• Conduct regular inspections and quality audits of patient/resident areas, public spaces, and laundry operations.
• Manage departmental inventory, equipment maintenance, and supply orders.
• Implement performance metrics and track KPIs for operational efficiency and service quality.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support infection prevention, patient satisfaction, and safety initiatives.
• Support the Director in preparing reports, evaluating departmental performance, and implementing new programs or initiatives.
