Lemontree Healthcare is seeking a dedicated EVS Housekeeper to join our Environmental Services team at Norwalk Community Hospital in Norwalk, CA. The role focuses on keeping patient rooms, public areas, and designated spaces clean to the highest infection-control standards, ensuring a safe, healthy environment for patients and staff.

The position is full-time with a 2:30 pm–11:00 pm shift, Monday–Friday and every other weekend.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience: Healthcare environment experience is a plus but not required.
• Skills: Follow instructions, pay attention to detail, manage time well.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning & disinfection of patient rooms, bathrooms, offices, hallways and public areas.
• Floor care: sweep, mop, vacuum.
• Trash & linen removal and transport to disposal facilities.
• Inventory maintenance and restocking of cleaning supplies.
• Safety & sanitation: use PPE and maintain equipment.
• Patient interaction with confidentiality and dignity.
• Quality control: report cleanliness or safety concerns.
• Compliance with healthcare policies and infection prevention protocols.
