Lemontree Healthcare is seeking a dedicated EVS Housekeeper to join our Environmental Services team in West Monroe, LA. The role focuses on maintaining clean, safe patient rooms, public areas, and designated spaces in a healthcare facility. Flexible schedule and full-time hours are offered.

The EVS Housekeeper upholds infection control standards, communicates effectively with staff, and ensures a high standard of cleanliness and safety for patients and visitors.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Healthcare housekeeping experience is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and time management required.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning of patient rooms, bathrooms, offices, hallways, and public areas following infection control standards.
• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors to maintain cleanliness and safety.
• Empty trash, replace liners, and transport waste to disposal areas; handle soiled linens.
• Restock cleaning supplies and report shortages to EVS Supervisor.
• Follow PPE and safety protocols and maintain equipment in good condition.
• Interact respectfully with patients, visitors, and staff while protecting confidentiality.
